Laborer / Assistant

About the Role

Looking for dependable, hard-working people who aren’t afraid of heights and want to learn a
skilled trade. As a Laborer or Assistant, you’ll be part of a small crew working on chimney
repairs, waterproofing, stove installations, and more. Tasks range from mixing mortar to helping
install liners and caps, sweeping chimneys, and setting up scaffolding. No experience? No
problem—we’ll train you. Get paid while you learn a trade.

What You'll Do

  • Mix mortar, move materials, and help rebuild chimneys
  • Assist with stove and insert installations
  • Sweep chimneys and prep job sites
  • Apply water repellent and help with flashing/sealing work
  • Set up and break down ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Support your lead techs while learning every step of the trade

What You'll Need

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and scaffolding
  • Able to lift 80 lbs and work full 10-hour shifts
  • Show up on time, work hard, and be ready to learn

Pay & Benefits

  • $20–$25/hour to start, depending on experience

Lead Repair Technician

About the Role

As a Lead Repair Technician, you’ll take the lead on chimney repairs, masonry work, and
stove/liner installations. No inspections or customer education—just hands-on work, job site
problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results. You’ll run a small crew, manage on-site
work, and make sure everything’s done right and done safely.

What You'll Do

  • Rebuild chimneys, repoint brickwork, and install flashing and crowns
  • Install liners, dampers, stove and fireplace inserts, and chimney caps
  • Restore damaged or unsafe fireboxes

  • Lead a small crew, keep jobs efficient and safe, and ensure quality control
  • Coordinate with the Lead Sweep/Inspector at least one week ahead of each job
  • Tackle unexpected issues on the job with confidence and know-how

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in masonry, chimney repair, or a related trade
  • Solid knowledge of liner systems, brickwork, flashing, and waterproofing
  • Comfort working at heights using ladders and scaffolding
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Ability to lead a small crew and stay organized
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and best practices

Pay & Benefits

  • $30–$40/hour based on experience
